Scam Systems Exposed

Since the dawn of gambling, people have boasted of discovering or inventing a system that is guaranteed to beat any gambling game in the casino. Some of the authors of the book have made millions by promoting their systems that anyone can learn and apply right away. Many of these systems claim an easy 1-2-3 method while others involve a more complex mathematical formula that they only can understand. What makes the lure of these systems is that it promises riches for a mere pittance of the price plus shipping of the book.

The advertisements of these systems proliferate any webpage remotely connected with gambling. Some advertisements have even appeared alongside sexual medicine stimulants and in some rare cases, on religious sites in case the Almighty might want to bless some with good gambling fortune.

For those people who have expressed an interest in gambling have had their email accounts deluged with hundreds of mail-order solicitations or internet ads.

All the advertisements have the basic message content. They contain a lot of hype to get noticed but are sketchy when details are involved. Most ads or emails contain come on lines but fail to give explanations on basic questions like what are the percentages involved, how does one reduce the house edge and others. These ads play on the greed emotion of human beings. By being greedy, it over rides any thought of reason.

Most systems can be classified in two categories. The first category is selling some sort of money management theory or method that does not really work. Some of the systems are reprints and re-written versions of the martingale system where a player can win big if the bet is doubled after every loss. This may sound great but any player who suffers eight straight losses would usually exceed the table maximum and put the player out of money quickly.

Other systems capitalize on the hedging process or progressing ones bets. No matter what authors claim about their systems, there is no mathematical way any money management system can alter the house edge of the casinos. Hedging can only minimize ones losses while progression methods can help win more if and when the player starts a winning streak. Despite these claims, the house edge cannot be broken.

The second category is a cheap, re-written, and flashier version of a concept that does work. Usually these are concepts illegally ripped off from notable gambling players. Some of them are just videos on basic how to's on poker or blackjack.

These systems are nothing more than scams disguised as legitimate materials. Players skeptical of the system may opt to try it but end up regretting their choice. The only ones that can break the house edge are the casinos themselves.
